Abstract
Although serving student needs has long been a part our law libraries’ missions, a more recent trend has been to designate a librarian to focus on something more than just reference services. Three law libraries have accomplished this by creating a "Student Services Librarian" position. These librarians not only help students at the reference desk, but they also act as a program coordinator and lead marketer for the law library. Student services librarians try to engage students through programs and other activities in order to foster a better working relationship between students and the law library. The panel will present and discuss some of the marketing ideas and activities they have used to help spark students' interest in the law library, including a student advisory council, Law Library Week, Facebook, a Personal Librarian program, and more.
